Default Experience Emote

So, there is an emote for rank, why not one for experience.

Perhaps, one for pre-ascention, one for 500,000 exp, 1,000,000, 2,000,000, and 5,000,000.

Some players frequient the Underworld, and the Fissure regularly, and those players should have something extra to show how addicted they are to the game.

But what would the emote itself be? Like a glyph above you or
something?

This interests me.

sigh, please keep the n00bz talk to 0. Rest asured, if this is a flamefest, it will be completely ignored.

How about a baby rattle for pre-ascended characters?

A flexing arm for 500,000?

If everyone suggests one, we could have more than we need.

sword for 1mil
axe for 3 mil
hammer for 9mil

or something like that

I don't PvP, or rather, haven't started yet.
I don't have a ton of experience, around 950,000 on my W/Mo.
I'd like to be able to show something for my troubles

Your statement can also be applied to everybody who's wearing Fissure armour (to those of you who do, this is not a stab at you but a stab at this statement)

The point of this is just to add a little reward for PvErs that affects noone really. If that character of yours is a farmer, I'd think that your point of playing him would be to farm, and not to do missions/quests. So you wouldn't have a problem getting into groups or whatnot.

what ?? it is just what i have observed -_-' (and i am not a farmer so i don't consider that others are copies of me, i just observed)... ok so replace the term "noobz" by the term "guys who are not as skilled as the amount of experience they have tends to show".
And it is not flaming anymore

"debate about that statement is closed"

Great. Now if you dont have enough experiance you cannot get a group.Sorry.Adding a rank system to PvE would be incredibly stupid.

Honestly, I would think it'd be cool, but all the Monk and/or Warrior farmers will be the only ones with it, considering they can get massives amount of experience from farming alone. My monk has over a mil, my warrior has over 1.5 mil, so basically, it wouldn't be too fair for the non-farmers. This would actually promote farming that Anet has tried so hard to end.

I like the idea, I dont PvP much so I dont use the rank emotes, but I'd love an Exp emote.

Really, I don't take offense at being called a noob. In fact, I think I am one. And I don't get why people are offended when they're labeled a noob.

And I'm not going to rebutt that statement since the one who made it wants it closed

I don't see the point. 3 toons finished the game and none have over 500k experience from what I remember, though some are close.

Why not make it something useful, like an emote for having all mission bonuses (an actual accomplishment) and put in a bunch of really challenging things that are difficult to do in the game, and give emotes for those. Rewarding experience just seems ludicrous. I mean, why not just reward the /age function, and get right down to time online? The game is about skill, not time spent, so something that rewards skilled play, yes. Something that allows kids with farming characters, no.

maybe for:

-Having finished the game,
-Having done a real difficult quest in UW/FoW
(don`t know them as I havent done them)
-Defend Droknars, Defend Kryta and all those quests having a seperate emote.

Ofcourse there is the problem that PvE will turn out the same as PvP, Highly experienced people who will never want to join up with none-experienced ppl

This has been suggested before, and is a good idea.

Some things that could be use as a measuring stick:

exp points
ascention
infusion
game completion
UW/FOW Entry
Missions Completed
Bonus Missions Completed
UW/FOW Quests Completed
Normal Quests Completed

Maybe a different colored aura based on experience that only shows up when you dance. Like the collectors edition has that cool aura.

I would rater have a reward for age than experience.

Like Kago said, you can get alot of experience farming in a very short ammount of time. I'd like the people who play the most to have the emote. Show the people who are really dedicated to the game.

So you wanna reward the people with a flat rate that can be in GW online 24/7?

Remember: you do not need to play GW to have it turned on

Let's face it: besides Quests and Missions, all measures for PvE must fail.

I don't like rank emotes and wouldn't like one for experience or anything else.

What the game needs is a character/account bio which other players can query.

The bio could include various character/account stats and should include any guild name so you are not just guessing from the tag. The bio should also include a self written section to let other players know something about you.

It would also be very nice to be able to show other players your build (skills/attributes/equipment) but that would have to be driven from your end not theirs.
